Day 1: Dholavira\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Drive to the Khadir Bet (Island), in the Rann of Kutch Lake. On leaving the mainland and entering the island of Khadir, the scenery changes and becomes more arid. Check into hotel. Early in the evening visit the Fossil Park and further proceed to the sunset point to enjoy a beautiful view. Dinner & overnight stay at the resort.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Day 2: Hodka \/ Dhordo \/ Rann<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Early in the morning visit the ruins of Dholavira, a city of the 5000-year-old Harrapan Civilisation. Keep a guide for information and history and also shows you around todays Dholavira. Return to the hotel for breakfast & visit the Harrapan Civilization Museum. Enjoy a village walk with local guide to understand how the villagers live in harmony with nature and in extreme conditions in this arid land.  Lunch & Proceed to Dhordo. Drive along the new road- constructed between the island and the mainland which is the Road through Heaven, the best drive of your trip.  The roads being better, helps with the drive as you make a stop at Dhordo to get an idea of the tent city and crowds. In the evening spend leisure time in Rann. Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel or Rann Utsav.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Day 3: \u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Dhordo \u2013 Kalo Dungar \u2013 Nirona Art Village – Devpur Homestay<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After leisure breakfast, first drive up to Kalo Dungar (Black Hill) while witnessing a geomagnetic area en-route. From the top, the views of the entire Rann (sometimes right into Pakistan) are stunning. Later, drive to the India Bridge, which is as close as possible that one can get to the border. Halt for lunch and then head towards Nirona, the premier arts and handicraft village of Kutch. Rogan art on cloth, copper bell making are some of the art forms that you will observe in this village. Then drive straight to our accommodation for the night. The Devpur homestay is an experiential heritage homestay in Kutch.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Day 4:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Devpur \u2013 Banni Grasslands \u2013 Devpur Homestay<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today promises to be a day with nature as you leave homestay early and drive towards the Banni Biosphere Area famous for its early morning views. Book a Safari with Jugal Tiwari. He is the area expert as you catch the winter migration of the birds for the Morning Birding Safari in the reserve. Later on, enjoy lunch at the home of Jugal Tiwari before returning to the Devpur homestay. Dinner & overnight stay at the Devpur homestay.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Day 5: <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Mandvi Port Town \u2013 Vijay Vilas Palace Beach \u2013 Devpur Homestay<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After breakfast, visit the Shyamji Krishna Verma Memorial spread over 52 Acres, called \u201cKranti Tirth\u201d. Head towards Mandvi, the old capital of the Kutch region is the most important port here and will visit the most important trade of the town, a ship building sight. Lunch try a local Thali. Later, drive to the Vijay Vilas Palace and enjoy some tea in royal surroundings overlooking the Gulf of Kutch. Sunset is best enjoyed from the private beach after which drive back to Devpur homestay.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Day 6:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Devpur Homestay \u2013 Ajrakhpur (LLDC Museum) * \u2013 Bhujodi \u2013Departure by evening train or flight<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After breakfast, drive to the Bhuj town, the administrative capital of Kutch and enjoy your last day not only in the town but also in some of the local artisan villages nearby like Ajrakhpur*, where the LLDC (Living and Learning Design Centre) is located which displays the textile culture of the entire region. The village is also famous for the Ajrakh block printing. The entire village of 200 families practice only the Ajrakh Style of block printing. Next stop will be in Bhujodi which houses multiple options to do some last-minute shopping. Spend leisure time in Bhuj before boarding the night train back to your home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
