Devpur Farmstay

If you know the outer and inner beauty of the luscious Kesar Mangoes, you know they have a sweet and tropical flavour with subtle tangy undertones, and Kutch Kesar Mangoes are grown abundantly in the Kutch district of Gujarat. And yes, we grow them here as well!

We developed Devpur Farmstay in 2016 on a 12-acre Kesar Mango orchard about two furlongs away from our homestay, for the love of mangoes! Amid the thick groove of one thousand mango trees, our teachers also sit with the kindergarten students in tiny-spaced airy huts to revise the alphabet. The Farmstay has two rooms; the bright and sunny Water Lily Room on the first floor, and the cozy little Sunflower Room with a low wooden ceiling. Each room has two beds and a sofa-cum-bed, with an open dining space, a small kitchen and an attached pantry.

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to camp right underneath two Chikoo trees! Phantom and Mandrake Tents have two camp cots each, with earthen open bathrooms

Rooms

Made of earth and fly-ash bricks, the rooms are tucked in Devpur Farmstay with abundant natural light and insulation. These spacious rooms open up to a beautiful scenery of the orchard from the windows and jharokhas. The rooms offer comfortable living amidst the orchard, with ensuite bathrooms, comfortable beds, and a tea/coffee maker. The verandahs outside the rooms embrace an inviting swing and you can access the lovely shaded terrace through the stairs.

Tents

Small and intimate canvas tents under Chikoo trees with two cots and side tables each. Each tent has its own plinth and a lounging day cot outside, under the shade of the tree. Each tent has a very unique bathroom right at the tent’s back that is made of kavelu and will give you the joy of living amidst nature.
